Choose a brand that you feel could credibly join the Black Lives Matter movement and create a campaign that will meaningly contribute to help further the cause.

With an astounding 93% of Black people with Afro hair in the UK having experienced microaggressions related to their hair, through the brand Head & Shoulders the aim is to educate about Black hair and end Black mens hair discrimination.
Many people don't know the symbolism and culture relating to Black hair, so this campaign will hopefully demonstrate this, showing that it is part of family life and traditions.

Since a boy my heritage has been weaved into my braids.
They protected my curls, but couldn't protect me,
from the bias I would come to face.
If my afro is blocking you from viewing my potential,
then just move to another way of thinking.
And by the way, you can’t touch my hair,
but feel free to understand my roots.

The campaign includes pop-up barber shops. Here, people can get their hair cut for free, whilst learning about Black history and Black hair. They will also receive free Head and Shoulders samples in the limited edition bottles.
